Apologies for the length of time between my last posting. A lot has happened, and continues to happen, since then. For those of you that have visited our site: Thank You! There are a lot of technological changes taking place in the NHS and the one that will affect many users in the Burntwood/ Lichfield area is the advance of the Electronic Transfer of Prescriptions or ETP. The Spires Practice "went live" back in May; Fulfen "go live" in October; and Salters Meadow will follow suit in November. But don't panic you won't really see much of a difference other than not being given a prescription every time you visit your doctor. And you can continue to order your repeat prescriptions like you normally do. It just means that the prescriptions will be electronically sent to the pharmacy of your choice where they can be put up ready for collection.
