We are a local family run pharmacy providing NHS and private services in the heart of our community for nearly 20 years. Batch Electronic Repeat Dispensing (eRDs)

Your surgery may have started issuing you multi month prescriptions (eRDs). If you are on Batch Electronic Repeat Dispensing hey will have uploaded multiple prescriptions to us that cover you for 6 or 12 months and you do not need to keep requesting your repeat prescription every month from your GP. If you are on eRDs, you just need to request your next month's prescription. You will only need to request a fresh from your GP when your batch prescription has run out.

Disposal of Unwanted Medicines

Please bring any out-of-date, unwanted or no longer required medicines to us for safe disposal.

Electronic Prescription Service

We are able to obtain your prescriptions electronically without the need for a paper copy. Simply ask your GP Surgery to nominate our pharmacy in order for your prescriptions to be transferred to us automatically.

Make life easier for yourself and let us order your prescription on your behalf. Simply let us know what repeat medicines you need, a few days before they run out and we will arrange to collect it from your Doctor's surgery.

Health Advice and Self-care

The pharmacist and our trained assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments, in private if required. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life, for example, advice on how to stop smoking, or healthy diets. We can direct you to other sources of advice and assistance if we cannot help you ourselves.

New Medicine Service

NMS provides early support to patients who have been prescribed new medication so that they can get the maximum benefit from it. It can be provided to you if you have newly prescribed medication from the following therapy areas/ conditions: * Asthma/COPD * Type 2 Diabetes * Anti-platelet/anticoagulant therapy * Hypertension

We dispense NHS prescriptions and will give advice on how to get the most benefit from your medicines. We keep a comprehensive stock of medicines and use a fast and an efficient wholesaler service to enable us to fill all prescriptions promptly. For patients in England who do not have a valid exemption or pre-payment certificate, the NHS prescription charge is currently £9.65 per item.

Private Flu Vaccination

We recommend you consider getting a flub jab If you don't qualify for an NHS vaccination but are:

susceptible to colds and chest infections
are self employed and unable to afford time off work
would like to protect yourself from flu during peak season
